Angela is a seasoned, innovative and energetic Executive Coach and HR professional with experience across the Asia Pacific in a diverse range of industries (luxury retail – LVMH, Lane Crawford, Coach; telecom – Sprint; financial news and publishing – Dow Jones; NGO – ORBIS the flying eye hospital; hospitality – Eaton Hotel Group etc.)
Angela currently is the Founder & Director of A.L Consulting. Her mission is to create a sustainable future in the areas of people and leadership development where A.L stands for 2 focused areas (Authenticity & Leadership). In her last role as Head of Human Resources for the Hong Kong Trade Development council (HKTDC) where she managed the HR function for 40 offices across 27 countries. Prior to that, she was appointed by the New York based luxury brand 'Coach' as Director, Human Resources for China. She was heavily involved in the brand's acquisition from its distributor and expansion into the Chinese market. She played an integral role in talent acquisition, helped to grow the team from 10 staff to over 100 in less than two years, as well as opening a number of retail shops spanning across Hong Kong, Macau and China. Her longest tenure was with the telecommunications company 'Sprint' where she managed the Asia Pacific operations, based in Hong Kong. Angela's most memorable role was with the NGO 'ORBIS', whose mission is to restore sight and she recruited HK's first volunteer ophthalmologist.
Angela has also successfully led projects in culture transformation, new leaders' assimilation and company re-organization. She brings to her cleints, whether through coaching, facilitation, mentoring or consulting, the personal attributes of integrity, respect, perseverance and commitment. Her strong aspiration to achieve sustainable change through employee engagement, talent management, diversity and leadership development.
Angela's belief in branding and leveraging HR skills to help in human resource management has given her the passion to drive new initiatives and adapt to new environment no matter where she goes.
